Movie helps bring awareness to human trafficking

Human trafficking is the fastest growing and second largest – after drug dealing - criminal industry in the world, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Several resources are available to support schools in engaging with the families of incoming kindergarteners to complete the Ages & Stages Questionnaires^®, Third Edition (ASQ-3) and the Ages & Stages Questionnaires^®: Social-Emotional, Second Edition (ASQ: SE-2).

31: 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., in-person training appropriate for K-12 school counselors to set up 2023-2024 comprehensive school counseling program for success, Southwest Plains Conference Center, 810 W. Eighty-two students from the SkillsUSA Kansas delegation competed in skilled trades and leadership competitions at the annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Championships Conference from June 19-23 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gary Scott, of Olathe, has been selected as a Teacher of Excellence by the National Road Safety Foundation (NRSF) and the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA).

17: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. 2023-2024 School Year Kick-Off Event for Jump Start Your Success in School Nutrition Programs. Jump Start offers a blend of in-person, live virtual, on-demand and personalized training opportunities for new and aspiring school food service directors and managers.
