Did you know that participating in the Kansas Teacher of the Year program is one of the most important investments you can make in your teaching staff?
Not only are you demonstrating in a very visible way that you value your teachers and the contributions they make, you’re also providing an opportunity for your district nominees to network with and learn from other outstanding teachers by visiting their classrooms and attending a statewide conference focused solely on their professional learning.
The deadline to complete and submit the online nomination packet for the 2024 Kansas Teacher of the Year program is quickly approaching.
Applications must be submitted using the Kansas State Department of Education’s Kansas Teacher of the Year online authenticated application program, which closes at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7.
The 2024 Kansas Teacher of the Year nomination packet is available on the KSDE website at https://www.ksde.org/Portals/0/Communications/2024-KTOY-NOMINATION%201.pdf?ver=2022-08-08-140446-420.
