The Kansas State Department of Education is excited to announce the creation of a new Exploration of Career Pathways course for middle school students.
Twenty-five multidiscipline modules were created to allow students to demonstrate mastery of their content in a variety of ways driven by their personalized learning interests and goals.
Course modules are publicly housed on Pittsburg State University’s Kansas Center for CTE (KCCTE) website.
A three-series virtual workshop will begin Sept. 13 to provide additional information to teachers and administration about the course. The sessions are from 3:30-4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 13. Registration will get participants into all three sessions. For more details and to register, visit https://kccte.pittstate.edu/workshop/exploration-of-career-pathways-for-middle-school-virtual/.
KCCTE’s Resource Library houses modules on Exploration of Career Pathways that are prepared so teachers can plug in and start using them right away. Find them at https://library.kccte.pittstate.edu/curriculum/26.
