Are you interested in reviewing teacher preparation programs at higher education institutions across Kansas? If so, we have the opportunity for you!
The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP: https://caepnet.org/). This partnership with CAEP will provide Accreditation Site Visitor Training to individuals who are interested in participating in Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) Accreditation.
If you are interested in being part of an Accreditation team for Educator Preparation Providers in Kansas, this opportunity is for you!
The Accreditation Site Visitor Training has two parts. The first training will be an asynchronous, online module set. The second training will be held in person.
The in-person workshop will take place Sept. 16 in the Topeka area. The online, asynchronous training and in-person workshop are open to P12, higher ed, and state agency personnel in the Great Plains region. The training is available for interested new site visitors, experienced visitors and visit leads.
