Sunflower Summer ends this weekend

Kansas families have only a few days left to enjoy free access to museums, zoos, historic landmarks, outdoor locations and other attractions across the state. The 2023 Sunflower Summer program ends Sunday, Aug. 13.

Sunflower Summer is funded by federal COVID-19 money to offer summer enrichment activities for Kansas students. As of Sunday, Aug. 6, approximately 75,917 families have participated in this year's Sunflower Summer program. This breaks down to approximately 164,844 children.
