A balanced assessment system, early learning, leadership, technology, and safe and supportive schools are just a few of the topics that will be discussed at the KSDE Great Ideas in Education Conference: Empowered Together.
The conference will take place Oct. 25-27 at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita. Conference registration is open and will close Oct. 13.
Registration is $175 for one full day or $275 for the entire conference. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included in the registration fee. Conference hotel reservations can be made here for $125 per night.
KSDE also is currently looking for recordings of student performances to highlight during the conference. These recorded performances will be viewed by all attendees during the general sessions at the conference. Performances should be between five and 10 minutes in length and may be a compilation of multiple performance experiences.
