Friday, April 7, is the deadline for Kansas school districts that plan on offering alternative schools during the 2023-2024 school year to complete a Google form for the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE).
To better track and support alternative schools in the state, KSDE’s Career, Standards and Assessment Services (CSAS) team is trying to verify how many alternative schools will be in operation during the 2023-2024 school year.
Districts that plan to offer an alternative school during this time frame should complete a Google form (https://forms.gle/5sAidnRkpvb63pMc7) by Friday, April 7.
For more information, contact Dr. Robyn Kelso, an education program consultant for KSDE, at rkelso@ksde.org.
