The Kansas School Nurses Organization wants to emphasize the contribution of Kansas school nurses by recognizing one professional registered school nurse and one professional registered school nurse administrator who demonstrate excellence and professionalism in school nursing practice.
Therefore, KNSO is inviting districts, as well as others, to nominate a registered professional school nurse and/or a school nurse administrator for the 2023 Kansas School Nurse of the Year or Kansas School Nurse Administrator of the Year award.
The deadline for nominations is March 31. Nominators don’t have to be a nurse in order to make a nomination.
The recipients of the 2023 Kansas School Nurse of the Year and Kansas School Nurse Administrator of the Year will be recognized at the annual Kansas School Nurse Summer Conference in July 2023.

To make a nomination, contact Katy Carter, KSNO Awards and Scholarship chair, by email at KCarter@usd266.com or call her at 316-462-8085.
