So far, 14 Kansas school districts have applied for a total of 43 electric buses, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
EPA is partnering with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to discuss electric vehicle charging infrastructure in rural communities. There is $500 million available for 2022 Clean School Bus Rebates. The application deadline is 10:59 p.m. CST.
