Fingerprint-based record check costs to increase June 15

Starting July 1, 2024, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation will increase the costs of providing fingerprint-based record checks to state agencies.

The cost of a fingerprint-based record check will increase to $57. The Kansas State Department of Education will raise the fingerprint background check fee from $50 to $57 after June 15, 2024, to cover the increase.
