The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Child Nutrition and Wellness (CNW) team is hosting a virtual town hall meeting at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 2. The meeting will cover the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), including an overview of CEP, the requirements to operate, determining whether sites qualify, and frequently asked questions.

An additional town hall will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 9, to discuss the School Nutrition Program (SNP) renewal process for the 2024-2025 school year. Information will be provided about changes to the sponsor application, site applications, and required forms. A training on unpaid meal charges will also be provided. The training will cover unpaid meal charge requirements and best practices to prevent unpaid meal charges.
