The Kansas State Department of Education has reviewed all programs and practices from the 2022-2023 approved list. Those that are no longer on the state at-risk list for the 2024-2025 school year will not be eligible for state at-risk funding without provisional approval from KSDE. To see a list of approved evidence-based practice and programs, click here.
Districts using programs that are no longer approved can submit a provisional application using local data to show program effectiveness for at-risk students. Only submit programs that are being used for at-risk students that are above and beyond the general curriculum used for all students. Please do your best to address all items on the application.
Programs that have expired are not eligible for provisional approval.
Superintendents should designate a district member to complete the application. Click here to access the application.
