KSDE providing resources for Students Right to Know Act

House Bill 2085, passed in the 2021 legislative session, created the Students Right to Know Act to provide information on postsecondary education options.

The Kansas State Department of Education is responsible for ensuring the distribution to students and parents of the following:

  • The degree prospectus information published by the Kansas Board of Regents.
  • The Kansas Training Information Program (K-TIP) report.
  • Other information relevant to the students’ understanding of potential earnings.
  • The potential earnings of the branches of the armed services of the U.S. military.
