KSDE early literacy/dyslexia team available to answer questions, provide information

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) early literacy/dyslexia staff members are available to help with questions or problems and can be contacted through the Literacy Lifeline.

The Literacy Lifeline provides educators an opportunity to connect with the KSDE team in a way that is convenient and helpful. Complete this quick form to receive an email reply, so you can set up a time for a Zoom that is convenient for you. The form also can be used to let team members know if there is an area that you would like to see addressed.

“If you have a question related to early literacy and/or how to best meet the needs of your K-12 students who are struggling with reading, let us be a resource for you,” said Dr. Laurie Curtis, early literacy/dyslexia program manager for KSDE.

For more information, contact Curtis via email at lcurtis@ksde.org
