As the first cycle of the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation (KESA) wraps up, the Kansas State Department of Education’s Accreditation and Design (AD) team wants to share this summary:
Beginning in the 2017-2018 school year and ending in the 2022-2023 school year, there were 361 systems (public and private) completing the first cycle of KESA.
This year – the 2023-2024 school year, is the transition year between KESA 1.0 and KESA 2.0, which will officially begin with the 2024-2025 school year.
