School counselors, nurses, social workers, psychologists and administrators are invited to join the School-Based Mental Health 2023-2024 ECHO series for free.
The series is sponsored by The University of Kansas Medical Center, United Healthcare Community Plan and Project ECHO.
The ECHO series will begin at 9 a.m. Aug. 23 and will take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.
The School-Based Mental Health 2023-2024 ECHO series will foster a collaborative and supportive environment for school counselors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, administrators and other school-based professionals to address the most pressing student and staff mental health priorities identified by school-based partners in student mental health.
Via a statewide needs assessment, Kansas school counselors, school nurses and school social workers prioritized the topics of stress and anxiety, trauma, crisis intervention, mental illness, self-harm/suicide, mental health first aid and school staff members wellness for this series.
