The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) and the Kansas Association of Teachers of Science (KATS) are partnering to host a monthly virtual professional learning community for educators in their first through third years of teaching science.
Preservice teachers also are welcome to attend.
Monthly topics will include everything from lab safety to general classroom management tips.
The PLC sessions began Aug. 2 and will take place the first Wednesday of every month through November (Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1).
