More information about the Kansas State Department of Education’s Great Ideas in Education Conference: Empowered Together from Oct. 25-27 at the Wichita Hyatt and Convention Center is now available.
A draft schedule of events is available here. This schedule will give attendees an idea of the opportunities available during the conference, including a chance to network with peers who are in similar job assignments.
On Friday, Oct. 27, Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson will give an update on KSDE’s work and other highlights.
There also is information on Dr. Steve Constantino, who is the featured keynote speaker on Wednesday, Oct. 25. Constantino is internationally recognized for his work in family engagement and his innovative, nonconventional, entrepreneurial and outlier approaches to leading organizations with impressive results. Check the conference website frequently for updates and to get registered.
A special thanks to all the teachers who submitted art contest entries. Winners will be announced soon.
