Districts/systems now have another option for their annual Professional Development Council (PDC) member training requirement.
This training reviews the required Kansas professional development regulations using the current PD Plan Template and Guidance as its format. Systems wanting to meet the Annual PDC Training requirements and learn about the structure and content of the PD Plan should go to the KSDE Training Portal at learning.ksde.org and follow the instructions to register for the class called Annual PDC Member Training. It is under the Teacher Licensure and Accreditation course category, Professional Development.
For more information or questions, email Ed Kalas, an education program consultant for the Teacher Licensure team, at ekalas@ksde.org.
