The Kansas Seal of Biliteracy Guidelines and scores spreadsheet have been updated and are available on the Kansas Seal of Biliteracy website at https://www.ksde.org/Agency/Division-of-Learning-Services/Career-Standards-and-Assessment-Services/Content-Area-M-Z/World-Languages/Seal-of-Biliteracy.
The guidelines document has been updated to reflect the added approved assessments and to reflect the updated English requirement put into place during the 2021-2022 school year, said Mike Flenthrope, a Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) teacher leader consultant for world languages and English to speakers of other languages (ESOL).
School districts can start submitting student assessment qualifying scores on the KSDE-provided spreadsheet found on the website when ready.
