On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the KSDE Early Childhood team hosted two Zoom meetings to provide an overview of 2023-2024 preschool funding resources, including the Preschool Revenue Calculator and Budget Template. PowerPoint slides from that presentation are now posted on the KSDE Early Childhood webpage.
Please note: A formula error for the updated Revenue Calculator and Budget Template version released on Dec. 8, 2022, prevents “Other Direct Costs” and “Indirect Costs” from calculating correctly. The Dec. 6 and Dec. 14 versions of the spreadsheet do not contain this error. Contact Amanda Petersen (apetersen@ksde.org) for assistance.
Kansas Preschool Pilot renewal grant applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023. More information regarding the Kansas Preschool Pilot renewal grant is available on the KSDE Preschool Programming webpage. Contact Natalie McClane (nmcclane@ksde.org) if you are a current Kansas Preschool Pilot grantee and the primary contact for your grant has changed since last year’s application.
The KSDE Early Childhood team also will be hosting a Zoom meeting to review the 2023-2024 Kansas Preschool Pilot Grant Application, including FAQs regarding the Preschool Revenue Calculator and Budget Template, on Jan. 25, 2023. There will be two sessions with the same information – plan to attend just one session.
