Final reminder: Presidential Scholars, Presidential Scholars in CTE programs nominations due Oct. 10

Nominations for the Presidential Scholars and Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education (CTE) must be postmarked by Oct. 10.

The Presidential Scholars program recognizes and honors high school seniors who have demonstrated high achievements academically or in the arts — some having to overcome special challenges or hurdles to do so.

The Presidential Scholars in CTE program also offers recognition of high-achieving students who have demonstrated excellence in CTE. This program started in 2016.

These programs require separate nomination forms and must be postmarked by Oct. 10.

To nominate a student for the Presidential Scholars program or the Presidential Scholars in CTE program, a nomination form must be completed and submitted to the address indicated on the nomination form. Nomination forms may be accessed at this link:

Note: Schools may nominate only two students for each scholar's program from their school.
