Through March 4: Educator Data Collection System is open now through March 4 for submission of Licensed Personnel Report.  

5-9: National School Counseling Week. 

9: Deadline for submitting form for alternative schools or programs count. Districts offering an alternative school or program during the 2023-2024 school year should complete this form

12: Spring 2024 Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training Program kickoff. The KU Tobacco Treatment Specialist (KU TTS) program is an online training course that will require about 14-18 hours to complete and concludes with eight hours of synchronous, virtual skills building training. The cost is $1,000. However, scholarships are available. The application for Spring 2024 TTS training has closed. 21: 1 p.m., Vetting Online Educational Services. This is the second workshop in the KSDE Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Professional Development Webinar Series. Brittani Fairchild, a data privacy analyst for AEM/PTAC, will discuss how the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) applies in the context of education technology and provide a roadmap to understand how to protect student privacy in the digital context.
