Updates to the Kansas Early Learning Standards were approved by the Kansas State Board of Education at its January meeting. As KSDE’s Early Childhood team prepares to print and distribute copies of these updated standards, they need to know how many are needed for each district.
Natalie McClane, an education program consultant on the Early Childhood team, has sent out emails to primary early childhood contacts or superintendents of each district to get this count. Districts will be directed to complete this short survey within the next week so they can get an accurate count of how many they need to have printed.
The team is hoping to get these printed as soon as possible, so a quick response is appreciated. If you would like to access the updated Kansas Early Learning Standards, you can find them on KSDE’s Early Childhood page.
Any questions about the updated Kansas Early Learning Standards can be directed to McClane at nmcclane@ksde.org.
