The deadline to register for the Kansas State Department of Education’s New Superintendents Budget Workshop is 4 p.m. Friday, June 23.
The workshop, presented by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Craig Neuenswander and Dale Brungardt, director of KSDE’s School Finance team, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at the Salina District Office, 1511 Gypsum Ave. in Salina.
Registration is limited to new superintendents and first-year board clerks or business managers who don’t have experience working on the school district budget.
