The Davis-Bacon Compliance requires all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors who work on construction contracts in excess of $2,000 financed by federal assistance funds to be paid wages not less than those established for the locality of the project (prevailing wage rates) by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

  • School districts are advised to review their ESSER II plans and ensure they match the expenditures included in the ESSER quarterly reporting. Please be sure to follow up with KSDE’s ESSER team if you have any questions or concerns regarding your district’s ESSER II plans.
