The third annual reporting survey for Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds is now open.
The annual report opened Nov. 2, and the deadline for submission is Jan. 13, 2023.
Completion of this report is mandatory to ensure districts continue to receive federal funds without interruption.
A link to the survey will be provided in KSDEweekly next week.
Details on the ESSER funds are posted on the KSDE website under the Federal Disaster and Pandemic webpage.

If you receive notification that your survey has been completed, but you have not submitted it, please reach out to the Kansas State Department of Education’s ESSER staff members immediately, and they will assist you in getting a new link to enter the survey.
Again, KSDE’s staff will be available to answer your questions and assist you with this process. Thank you for your assistance in meeting this requirement.
KSDE will be hosting two in-person meetings for the Annual ESSER Report Training.
The first will be 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Foundry Event Center in Topeka, 400 S.W. 33rd St. The registration link for the Topeka meeting is: https://www.ksdetasn.org/events/nNoj5A.
The second will be from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Wichita Marriott in the Corporate Hills Ballroom, 9100 E Corporate Hills Dr.

KSDE’s ESSER team will have office hours from 1:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, so district personnel can ask any ESSER-related questions. The office hours link will be distributed Tuesday, Nov. 15, on the ESSER listserv.
