E-Rate 470 deadlines are just around the corner! Anyone who missed the in-person or Zoom sessions on Funding Year 2024 E-Rate can view a recording of the Zoom session.
The session is split into two 1-hour modules. It is not required that you watch both sessions. This video includes information about changes related to Wi-Fi on school buses and the pending pilot study on whether funding software for cyber security would be beneficial for schools and libraries participating in E-Rate, which may not have been available in earlier sessions. Access to this video resource and the E-Rate help documents is available in the KSDE Training Portal under the E-Rate section. An account is required to access. For information about accounts or help with the Portal, please contact Melanie Scott, Information Technology training coordinator, at mscott@ksde.org. For help with E-Rate feel free to use the Kansas (no charge) hotline staffed by BTU Consultants at (866) 372-8302.
