The fiscal year 2023 annual reporting survey for Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds opened Wednesday, Nov. 1 and the deadline for submission is Jan. 12, 2024.
Completion of this report is mandatory to ensure districts continue to receive federal funds without interruption.
The Qualtrics link to the survey was sent via the ESSER listerv. If you didn’t receive it, please email Kansas State Department of Education’s (KSDE) ESSER staff members at esser@ksde.org to request it.
Details on the ESSER funds are posted on the KSDE website under the Federal Disaster and Pandemic webpage under Annual Reporting for ESSER and will be updated as available.
If you receive notification that your survey has been completed but you haven’t submitted it, please reach out to KSDE ESSER staff members immediately, and they will help you get a new link.
If you need a PDF copy of the 2022 Annual Reporting, please reach out to the ESSER staff members to request it.
KSDE is hosting webinars and in-person meetings for the Annual ESSER Report training.
The first reporting webinar was Wednesday, Nov. 1. This webinar was recorded and will be posted on the website as soon as it is available.
The second webinar will be 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 8. The purpose for this time will be to answer remaining ESSER annual reporting questions, and it will not be recorded. A Zoom link will be distributed closer to the date.
