Teacher mentor programs open, submissions due May 1

Teacher mentor programs are now open. Districts that entered potential mentor teachers into the system by the fall deadline will now: (1) validate the list of mentors; (2) enter mentees; (3) enter assignments by assigning mentors to mentees; and (4) submit the final stipend request.

The deadline for final submission is 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. For more information about the requirements for districts, mentors, mentees, the application process or distribution of funds, go to: Mentoring Stipend (ksde.org)

For questions about the mentor programs application, contact Leslie Bruton, data systems coordinator for Teacher Licensure, at lbruton@ksde.org or (785) 296–8011.
