Feature Story

KSDE’s Literacy Lifeline Thursday office hours will continue through December

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) early literacy/dyslexia staff members are offering Literacy Lifeline office hours from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursdays through December.

Educators are welcome to ask questions related to reading instruction, discuss problems in practice and problem-solve with members of the team to collaborate for student success.

While there isn’t a set topic, this could be an extension for the discussion of the Structured Literacy Intervention study or Fresh Look at Phonics study. Possible topics could include: What would a structured literacy intervention look like? How can I use blending lines more effectively? How might we group students’ user reader profiles?

Join via Zoom at https://ksde.zoom.us/j/84727745453.
