Updates on WorkKeys, PreACT 8/9 and ACT

Below are important updates on WorkKeys, PreACT 8/9 and ACT: 

Fall WorkKeys 

  • Enrollment for paper WorkKeys testing is closed. The first paper test date is Wednesday, Oct. 4. 
  • If you have not yet enrolled students for WorkKeys, you can still do so for online testing. Building test coordinators received Validus realm and login information on Sept. 6. The online testing window is Oct. 4-Nov. 13. You can set up for online testing any time prior to the date you choose to test. 
  • Also, if you choose not to test WorkKeys this fall, there will be two paper dates and a five-week online testing window in the spring. 
     

PreACT 8/9 

  • PreACT 8/9 for ninth-grade students ordering window is open and continues through Oct. 20. There is no student enrollment required. 
  • The testing window is Oct. 2-Nov. 10. 
  • PreACT 8/9 Administration Training took place Sept. 26. It was recorded and will be available for access later if you couldn’t attend. 
     

Spring ACT 

  • The Testing Accessibility and Accommodations System (TAA) is open now for test coordinators to submit requests for accommodations for ACT. Those requests must be submitted by Jan. 5.  This is a firm deadline. 
  • Pearson Access Next (testadmin.act.org) will open for ACT on Nov. 7 to begin test date selection and enrollment. 
  • The ACT Schedule of Events will be posted soon on the Kansas ACT web page.
