Reviewers needed for Science Standards Unpacking Tool

The Kansas State Department of Education’s science team has been working hard at piloting a Science Standards Unpacking Tool.

The aim is to provide increased clarity and coherence around science standards alignment.

At this time, KSDE is seeking five to 10 chemistry and physical science teachers from across the state who would be interested in reviewing the work and providing feedback.

This opportunity comes with a small stipend and will require reviewers to travel on Oct. 13 to Topeka. Travel and meals will be included in stipend considerations.

If you are interested, email mrichard@ksde.org a copy of your recent resume, teaching load and a brief statement of interest.
