IXL Math support, resources available for Kansas educators

There are several IXL Math resources available to help teachers and students have a successful 2023-2024 school year.

Here are a few:

Kansas IXL Math Hub

Visit the Kansas IXL Math Hub for implementation guides, family resources, upcoming webinars and more.

Complementary professional development package

The administrator identified for your account should have received an email to get your virtual learning session scheduled and IXL Live tickets reserved. If you have not received the email, or are unsure if your district is set up, email kansas@ixl.com to check your district’s status.

Here’s a reminder of what is included in the PD package, paid for by KSDE:

  • 60-minute Getting Started webinar: This virtual session will provide your team with essential knowledge to get up and running. An IXL PD specialist will reach out to your district contact to schedule your webinar as soon as we have confirmed your opt-in status.
  • eLearning library: This is your team’s on-demand and self-paced resource to maximize implementation of IXL.
  • IXL Live: Email ixllive@ixl.com to reserve your two free tickets. These full-day workshops will be held in Overland Park on Sept. 27 and Nov. 16; Salina on Oct. 12; and Wichita on Nov. 2. Additional tickets can be purchased for $95 each.

Free 30-minute webinars

In addition to your Getting Started virtual training, we are offering free webinars for Kansas educators that dive deeper into different IXL features. Attendees will walk away with new strategies to immediately use in the classroom - teachers and administrators are welcome to attend. Coming up:

  • Sept. 12: Start the School Year Off Right with IXL.
  • Sept. 14: Lesson Planning Made Easy with IXL.
  • Sept. 19: Transform Classroom Instruction with IXL Group Jams.
