Adaptive Schools Training registration open for 2023-2024

Adaptive Schools Training registration open for 2023-2024

Strong instructional leadership is crucial to system change and continuous improvement. Leading a system through change and adaptive challenges requires intentionality and professional learning.

Join the Kansas State Department of Education for Adaptive Schools Training, which will take place during the next three school years.

By engaging in this four-day training, district leadership teams will have the capacity to:

  • Be flexible and adaptive with their structure while also being clear about their identity.
  • Build collaborative, professional cultures and develop highly productive teams.
  • Foster innovation while maintaining and supporting foundational practices that have proven to be impactful.
  • Address the adaptive challenges currently facing systems across Kansas (staff shortages, high turnover, professional development needs, etc.).

Carol Brooks Simoneau, director for Thinking Collaborative, will provide the training.

Only 50 to 80 spots are available at the five regional education service centers. Registration is open until all spots are filled. Training begins in October.

Use this KSDE Flyer or Brochure to learn more about the training and trainer and to register for the four-day training.
