The Kansas Volunteer Commission has announced the Social Justice Capacity Building mini-grant, which is designed to help volunteer and mentor initiatives in Kansas build their capacity around social justice.
The Kansas Volunteer Commission strives to increase power, representation and agency among historically marginalized communities as it relates to volunteerism and civic engagement.
All school districts, as well as community-based and youth-serving organizations, are encouraged to apply. The grant period is from July 1, 2023-Dec.31, 2023, and applicants may request up to $5,000. Applications are due June 16, 2023.
