The Remote Learning Report and instructions for submitting it can be found on the KSDE Fiscal Auditing webpage, under the Calculators heading (Fiscal Auditing (ksde.org). In the report, the Student Information section should be completed for every student who is attending through remote learning for any amount of hours during the year. The completed report may be uploaded to the Auditor File Exchange or through Google Docs.

Don’t forget: Local board of education approval is needed for students who attend for more than 40 hours through remote learning. Questions about remote learning? Please see the KSDE guidance called Remote Learning – Limiting It – FAQs 2022-23. The document is located on the Fiscal Auditing webpage under the Audit Guides section.

In addition, details about the attendance/daily meaningful contact requirement and audit requirements related to remote learning can be found in the Enrollment Handbook on pages 29-31.
