The Teacher Licensure team at KSDE has developed interactive web tools to assist educators with their licenses. Applicants simply access one of the options below and follow the prompts:
- Which license do I need?
- Am I eligible for a license renewal?
- Am I eligible for a license upgrade?
All tools are located here at Teacher Licensure (TL) (ksde.org).
The tools can be used by prospective and current educators who have questions about licenses they may be qualified for based on their credentials.
Based on the answers that are given, each tool will lead to the correct application form that needs to be completed. If someone has a unique situation, there is an option to have an email sent to a consultant in the Licensure Office, so that a consultant may review the answers and contact the person with further guidance.
Please use this as one of your tools to assist educators with their licenses.
