KDHE partners with KU to learn more about how to improve health services for women, infants, children and teens

You can help shape the future of health services for Kansas families!

Researchers at the Center for Public Partnerships and Research at the University of Kansas (KU-CPPR) are teaming up with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s Maternal and Child Health Program to learn more about beliefs about systems of care for women, infants, children, and adolescents across the state.

Providers, families, and community members are invited to share their experiences with health services for women and children during several community engagement open houses across Kansas. These events are designed to get ideas for improving programs for maternal and child health in their community.

These free, come-and-go open houses will be in the following locations:

  • May 8: 9-11 a.m., Garden City, Finney County Public Library, Finnup Room
  • May 10: 9-11 a.m., Hays Public Library, Schmidt Gallery
  • May 30: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Salina Public Library, Prescott Meeting Room
  • May 31: 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Wichita Public Library, Advanced Learning Library, Children’s Gallery
  • June 27: 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Kansas City Kansas Public Library, 2nd Floor Auditorium
  • June 28: 1-3 p.m., Pittsburg Public Library, Large Meeting Room
