14-15: Kansas State Board of Education meeting, Topeka.

15: 1 p.m., FERPA 201 for IT. This is the fifth workshop in the KSDE Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Professional Development Webinar Series. The Student Privacy Policy Office’s Privacy Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) challenges all attendees to put their knowledge about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to the test. Attendees will explore complex and varied real-world scenarios around student privacy. This session, led by Brittani Fairchild, a data privacy analyst for AEM/PTAC, will also provide a forum for discussion of complex issues regarding FERPA. Register now by clicking here.
