KSDE Weekly

Accountability, Accreditation and Assessments

Free recruitment poster offered by Educate Kansas

The Fall KSDE 2023 Vacancy report indicated that Kansas had 1,810 certified openings, with the highest numbers being in elementary education and special education.

Over the next few weeks, Educate Kansas will be sharing free marketing materials every week through the first full week of May, Teacher Appreciation Week, to help support your teacher recruitment efforts.

This week’s marketing tool is a recruitment poster. To download and learn how to best utilize this tool, click here

The full “How to” toolkit can be found here. As we share these resources, you are invited to click each Canva link, edit and share it on your own media platforms during the given week. You will have the ability to customize and personalize the templates to your district, school, interlocal or cooperative.

Some of the resources allow for a space to include a photo of a teacher or group and their name/team. If you do not want to edit the templates, another template is provided that doesn’t require a photo or editing. If you are using photos of students or staff please use the media release form.

If you want to customize the templates but are unfamiliar with using the Canva platform, you can watch the “How To” videos below.
