Save the date for the 2024 Kansas State Department of Education Great Ideas in Education Conference.
The annual conference is set for Oct. 23-25, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Wichita, 400 West Waterman, Wichita, KS.
Registration will be available soon.
KSDE is looking for recordings of student performances for the conference. These recorded performances will be viewed by all attendees during the general sessions. Performances should be between five and 10 minutes in length and may be a compilation of multiple performances. Please complete this Google form to be considered.
KSDE also is holding the student art contest. This is open to all Kansas K-12 public and private school students. Each contest entry must include the student’s name and the student’s classroom teacher’s information.
Entries must be postmarked by May 24, 2024. All winners will be recognized during the KSDE Great Ideas in Education Conference.
