Kansas Crime Stoppers Association announces collegiate scholarships

Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Kansas Crime Stoppers Association collegiate scholarships. 

Applicants must be a graduating senior of an accredited Kansas high school. The scholarship, which will be awarded by April 1, 2024, is nonrenewable. 

Attached to the application, please include a high school, and if applicable, college transcript; a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, local Crime Stoppers member or law enforcement member; a recent photograph for possible media use (the photograph won’t be returned); and an original, personal essay describing future goals and objectives. 

A one-time disbursement of $500 will be paid to each scholarship recipient. There are two scholarships available. 

The complete application form and required attachments must be packaged together and submitted by email by 11:59 p.m. March 1, 2024. Send emails to Jacquilyn Ashcraft at kcsa1987@gmail.com
