The Kansas State Department of Education School Bus Safety Unit will be holding a Transportation Basics Workshop for transportation directors/supervisors from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, in Great Bend.
This workshop is especially recommended for new directors or supervisors. Although this course was designed for new transportation directors/supervisors, any transportation director/supervisor is welcome to attend.
The workshop is open to any public or private school transportation directors, transportation supervisors, school transportation contractors and other school officials involved with school transportation. No vendors, please.
There is no cost to attend the workshop, which will be at Front Door Community Center Lecture Hall, 1615 10th St. in Great Bend.
Class size is limited to 30 attendees. There will be a break from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch, which is on your own.
