DVD Library

One of the ways the School Bus Safety unit promotes traffic safety is through visual aids such as DVD's.  This video catalog lists the DVD's in alphabetical order which are available for loan, free of charge with the exception of return postage, to any Kansas group.

Driver education instructors, community leaders, and parents play a vital role in informing Kansans about traffic safety.  But it is the individuals themselves who decide whether they should apply and obey traffic laws.  People of all ages need to understand traffic safety for the benefits to themselves and others.

The School Bus Safety Education Unit is pleased to provide this service but we need your cooperation to insure the best possible service.

All DVD requests must be submitted on the DVD Order form 3 weeks prior to your show date. Phone in orders are NOT accepted. The order form must be completed with the date requested, video number and name of video.

Instructions and Order Form

Any group within the State of Kansas may borrow these DVD's at no expense to them except for paying return postage.  All videos in the library are in a DVD format.

Please use video number, date and name of video when ordering.  Only written requests will be accepted.  Forms are on webpage.

Request items three weeks in advance.  Do not schedule any DVD's for showing without checking with the library first.  If the DVD is not available for the day you are requesting it, you will be contacted by a member of the School Bus Safety Team to find a solution that will work for you.

DVD’s may be picked up and returned in person.  Since most items are heavily booked, it is mandatory that they be returned on the date due.  You could lose your privilege to use the library, if DVD's are not returned on time.  Delay of not returning them results in others not receiving them on time.  When returning DVD's please do not tape the whole box up- you only need one piece of tape! Passing a video onto another borrower is NOT permitted.

If there is damage to the video please contact the school bus safety unit.  It is the responsibility of the user to put a 'tracer' on the DVD's if it is lost or misplaced in the mail.

We do not send our DVD's out of State and we do not sell our DVD’s.
