One of the purposes of the School Bus Safety Education Unit is to promote
traffic safety through visual aids such as videos. This catalog lists the videos
in alphabetical order.

Driver education instructors, community leaders, and parents play a vital role
in informing Kansans about traffic safety. But it is the individuals themselves
who decide whether they should apply and obey traffic laws. People of all ages
need to understand traffic safety for the benefits to themselves and others.

The School Bus Safety Education Unit is glad to provide this service, but we need
your cooperation to insure the best possible service.

Phone in orders are no longer accepted. WRITE, E-MAIL, OR FAX IN YOUR
ORDERS. WE NEED 3 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR SHOW DATE. THIS WILL
INSURE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET THE VIDEO YOU WANT. ORDERS
WILL NOT BE FILLED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER INFORMATION ON
THE ORDER FORM SUCH AS DATE REQUESTED, VIDEO NUMBER AND NAME
OF VIDEO.

Instructions  

Any group within the State of Kansas may borrow these videos at no expense to
them except for paying return postage.  We do not send out our Video's or DVD's
out of State.

All videos in the catalog are ½" VHS and we had added some DVD's to our Library.

Indicate if substitutions can be made if the requested item is not available or list a
second choice of date. They may also be picked up and returned in person.

Since most items are heavily booked, it is mandatory that they be returned on the
date due. You could lose your privilege to use the library, if videos are not returned
on time.  Delay of not returning them results in others not receiving them on time.

Use proper tape on the video case when returning. " Magic Mending Scotch Tape"
and some masking tape will not stick to the case. The return address cards falls off
and the video gets lost in the mail. SO "PLEASE USE PROPER SHIPPING
TAPE" AND DO NOT PUT TAPE OVER THE TITLE LABEL.

All items must be handled carefully. If a break or other damage occurs, please write
that on the user's report and include it in the return case. Do not attempt to repair or
fix any problem.

We offer some suggestions for using our items. If borrowers follow them, it will help
us continue meeting the heavy demand for our library.

** Request items three weeks in advance. PLEASE USE ITEM NUMBER, DATE
AND NAME OF VIDEO WHEN ORDERING. ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS WILL
BE ACCEPTED. FORMS ARE INCLUDED.

** Passing a video onto another borrower is "NOT" permitted.

** Return videos in the container they arrive in.

** Fill out the users report slip enclosed with the video and return it immediately after
    showing.

** Do not schedule any video for showing without checking with the library first.
 
** If there is damage to the video please be sure to mark it on the enclosed user's
    report slip.

** It is the responsibility of the user to put a "tracer" on the video if it is lost or mis-
    placed in the mail.
